Tender Description

The Communication & Works Department Punjab invites tenders from engineering firms and contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council for restoration and repair works in Attock District. The procurement is conducted through the Punjab PPRA e-Tendering System, ensuring transparency and ease of participation for all eligible contractors. Items being procured: - Restoration of road cut for laying of Optical Fiber by Nayatel from Session Chowk to Railway Bridge, Length = 0.75 Km, Tehsil & District Attock - Restoration of road cut for laying of 6 inch diameter pipe, 1.50 Km Operational Phase from Proposed TBS Muhammad Ali Chowk to opposite PSO Pump Jand, Islamabad Tehsil Jand District Attock - Special repair of road from Kot Chajji to Namal, Tehsil Jand District Attock The scope includes mechanized execution of TST/DST/Surfacing works and manual adjustment of recovery against credit of old material. All bids must be submitted electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted digitally via the Punjab e-Procurement System in favor of the Executive Engineer Highways Division Attock. Physical bid securities such as CDR, Pay Order, Draft, or Cashier cheque will not be accepted. Eligibility requires registration with PEC in the relevant category and registration on the Punjab PPRA website. Bidders must quote item rates and total amounts as per PPRA Punjab Circular No. L&M (PPRA)10-1/2011/008595 dated 11.10.2024. No price variation will be admissible. The lowest evaluated bidder will provide a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract amount within 15 days of offer letter receipt. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee at the office of the Commissioner Rawalpindi Division, Rawalpindi. Contractors are advised to ensure all documents are genuine to avoid disqualification and blacklisting. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely digital submission of bid security and bids through the Punjab e-Procurement System to avoid rejection due to non-compliance with digital payment requirements.
