Tender Description
This tender notice concerns the extension of the submission and opening dates for road construction works under NIT No.1-1/XEN/Road/2025-2026 in Dera Bugti, Balochistan. The Civil Works, Public Parks & Horticulture Department of District Dera Bugti invites contractors to participate in this project focused on improving local road infrastructure. The extension allows bidders additional time to prepare their technical and financial proposals, ensuring thorough compliance with the tender requirements.
The project involves road construction activities that require quality materials such as asphalt, aggregates, and concrete, suitable for the challenging terrain of Dera Bugti. Contractors must consider the engineering complexities posed by the region's topography and climate. The department expects adherence to technical specifications and standards to ensure durability and safety of the road network.
Bidders should ensure they meet the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration requirements relevant to road works and maintain an active FBR ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. Submission of Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is mandatory. It is advisable to review all eligibility criteria carefully to avoid disqualification.
The new submission deadline is set for 16th January 2026, with the tender opening scheduled on the same day. Interested parties must submit their sealed bids to the office of the Executive Engineer (Road), CWPP&H Department, District Dera Bugti before the deadline. Late submissions will not be entertained.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to verify the specific stamp duty and Earnest Money requirements mentioned in the newspaper advertisement, as these are often overlooked and can lead to bid rejection.
