Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors in Islamabad to undertake the providing and installation of road lights along Ripah University Road in Sector I-14. Issued by the Capital Development Authority's E&M Development Directorate, this project falls under the categories of power and electrical equipment as well as road infrastructure works.
The scope includes supplying and installing LED luminaires, electrical wiring, poles, and related civil works such as trenching and concrete foundations. The site is located in a busy urban sector, requiring careful coordination to minimize disruption. Materials must meet high standards for durability and energy efficiency, with all electrical components conforming to approved specifications. The project duration is 90 days, emphasizing timely completion.
Bidders should ensure compliance with PEC registration requirements relevant to electrical and civil works. Additionally, FBR registration and an active ATL status for the financial year 2025-26 are mandatory. Contractors must prepare earnest money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as specified. Technical and financial bids must be submitted separately, following the prescribed bidding data and contract conditions.
The submission deadline is set for 28th January 2025, with bids opening shortly after. Interested parties should deliver sealed bids to the Mechanical Division-I office of CDA. All documentation must be complete and adhere strictly to the tender instructions to avoid disqualification.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender advertisement for specific stamp duty and earnest money requirements, as these are commonly overlooked and can lead to bid rejection. Also, ensure all technical specifications and schedules are thoroughly understood before submission to avoid costly errors.
