Tender Description
The Executive Engineer B&R Division C&W Kharmong invites sealed bids from eligible firms and contractors for multiple civil works projects in Kharmong, Gilgit-Baltistan. The works are to be executed under the GB PPRA Rule 2022 using the Single Stage Two Envelope (Technical and Financial) bidding procedure. The following projects are included:
Items being procured:
- Improvement and widening of road from Changmer Bridge to Tota Imtiaz Lake, including construction of rigid/PCC pavement on Changmer Ganoqu Tota Lake Track (Estimated Cost: Rs. 39.50 Million)
- Construction of C&W Office and residence at Kharmong (Portion-I) (Estimated Cost: Rs. 44.581 Million)
- Construction of C&W Office and residence at Kharmong (Portion-II) (Lot 02: Construction of C&W XEN House at Kharmong) (Estimated Cost: Rs. 40.00 Million)
The technical scope covers road improvement and widening, rigid pavement works, and the construction of government office and residential buildings. Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and code (C-5 & above for road works, C-5 & above for building works, code CE01 and CE10 as specified). Earnest money of 2% of the estimated cost is required for each lot, to be submitted in the form of a call deposit or pay order. Bidding documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned during working hours up to the deadline.
Sealed bids must be submitted by 19 September 2026 at 11:00 AM, with technical bids to be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The address for submission is the office of the Executive Engineer B&R Division C&W Kharmong. Late or incomplete bids will not be entertained.
A practical tip: Ensure your PEC registration is valid for the required category and code, and double-check that your bid security matches the specified percentage of the estimated cost for each lot.
