Transportation of Rock Salt from Jansukh Mine to PMDC Depots and Olympia Chemicals

Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites eligible bidders registered on EPADS v2.0 to provide non-consultancy transportation and carriage services for rock salt from Jansukh Mine No. 59 at PMDC Salt Mines, Warcha/Warcah. The contract is planned for FY 2026-27, with expected commencement on 30 September 2026 and a service schedule of 365 days. The required item and lot schedule comprises: Position 1, transportation of good quality rock salt from Jansukh Mine No. 59 to the PMDC Main Depot or New Depot, including loading and unloading, estimated quantity 24,350 metric tonnes annually and approximately 2,030 metric tonnes monthly; Position 2, transportation of good quality rock salt from Jansukh Mine No. 59 directly to M/s. Olympia Chemicals, including loading and unloading, estimated quantity 3,000 metric tonnes annually and approximately 250 metric tonnes monthly. Boulders or lumpy-size salt and mixing of fines, locally called soor, will not be accepted. Bidders must demonstrate access to suitable technical resources, equipment, personnel and financial capacity. Required eligibility documentation includes CNIC or NICOP, tractor registration certificates, five years of relevant experience certificates and work orders, bank-statement evidence of financial soundness, and an affidavit confirming no dispute, litigation or conflict of interest with PMDC. FBR NTN and applicable Punjab PRA registration or tax compliance should be checked, and bidders should ensure ATL status where applicable. A bid security of **PKR 300,000** is required through pay order, banker's cheque, call deposit, demand draft or the prescribed bid-securing declaration. The successful bidder must provide a **5% performance guarantee**. Bids must be prepared and submitted electronically through EPADS v2.0 by **20 August 2026 at 11:00 AM**. Bids will open online at **11:30 AM** the same day. The original bid-security instrument must reach **Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), Head Office 13, Sector H-9, Islamabad Capital Territory** before the deadline; manual bids are not accepted.
