Tender Description
The National Highway Authority (NHA) Punjab West Region in Mianwali invites e-Bids from registered contractors for 13 routine maintenance works on highways N-130 and N-135. These works are intended to maintain the road infrastructure ensuring safety and smooth traffic flow. Items being procured:
- Routine maintenance work on N-130 from km 0 to 20
- Routine maintenance work on N-130 from km 20 to 40
- Routine maintenance work on N-130 from km 40 to 60
- Routine maintenance work on N-130 from km 60 to 80
- Routine maintenance work on N-130 from km 80 to 100
- Routine maintenance work on N-130 from km 100 to 120
- Routine maintenance work on N-130 from km 120 to 129
- Routine maintenance work on N-135 from km 0 to 20
- Routine maintenance work on N-135 from km 20 to 40
- Routine maintenance work on N-135 from km 40 to 60
- Routine maintenance work on N-135 from km 60 to 80
- Routine maintenance work on N-135 from km 80 to 100
- Routine maintenance work on N-135 from km 100 to 126
The scope includes all routine maintenance activities as per NHA standards and specifications. Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the specified PEC categories C-5, CE-01 & CE-10 and must be active taxpayers with valid FBR registration. Bid security amounts vary from PKR 200,000 to PKR 500,000 depending on the contract. Bidders must submit their e-Bids by 15 September 2026 before 1100 hours. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 1130 hours. Manual bids will be eliminated in upcoming procurements, and all firms are advised to register on the EPADS portal immediately.

A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely submission of bids via the e-procurement portal and to prepare for possible multiple works bidding, as only two works will be awarded per bidder based on lowest bid and financial capacity.
