Routine Maintenance Works on N-35, N-125, N-15 and CPEC-HT E-35 Northern Area

The National Highway Authority (NHA) Northern Area Region Abbottabad is procuring routine maintenance works for multiple highway routes including N-35, N-125, N-15, and CPEC-HT E-35. This procurement covers 27 separate maintenance contracts spanning various kilometer sections on these highways. The works involve routine maintenance activities essential for the upkeep and safety of these critical road networks in the Northern Area region. The technical scope includes maintenance on specified kilometer stretches such as KM 0-20, KM 20-40, KM 40-60, and so forth, across the four routes. Each contract has a completion period of 12 months and requires contractors to have valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-5 or above, with specialization in CE-01 and CE-10. Contractors must also be active taxpayers registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Bidding documents will be available for free download from the NHA website starting July 6, 2026. The submission deadline for e-Bids is July 15, 2026, by 11:30 AM, with technical bids opening the same day at 12:00 PM. The procurement follows a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure. Financial bids of qualified bidders will be opened subsequently, with the lowest evaluated bidder awarded two RM contracts for the financial year 2026-27. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure their EPADS (PPRA) registration is active and up to date on the e-procurement portal www.eprocure.gov.pk, as manual hard copy bids will no longer be accepted. This will facilitate smooth participation in the NHA's e-Bidding system and avoid disqualification due to incomplete documentation or registration issues.
