Tender Description
The National Highway Authority (NHA) invites bids for routine maintenance works covering multiple road sections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This procurement is specifically for the fiscal year 2026-27 and includes maintenance of roads such as KM 1604+000 to 1690+000, KM 1650+000 to 1692+000, and several other stretches within the region. The scope involves routine maintenance including surface repairs, patching, and upkeep of the highway infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category and possess valid FBR and Active Taxpayer List (ATL) registration. Experience in similar highway maintenance projects is essential to meet the technical requirements. Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is mandatory with the Technical Bid submission.
The tender documents can be obtained from the National Highway Authority office in Peshawar. The submission deadline is strictly by 27th July 2023 at 11:00 AM, with bids to be submitted electronically via the NHA e-bidding portal. Late submissions will not be entertained.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the detailed scope of work and ensure all required documents, including the CDR and technical qualifications, are complete and properly attested. This will avoid disqualification during the initial evaluation phase. Also, visiting the site beforehand can provide valuable insight into the maintenance challenges and help prepare a more competitive bid.
