Tender Description
This tender invites bids from experienced suppliers for the supply of saffron corms and related services under the Directorate General Agricultural Research at Agricultural University Campus Peshawar. The procurement is focused on supporting agricultural development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through quality inputs and capacity building.
Items being procured:
- 250,000 corms of saffron of different varieties imported from countries like Iran, Greece, Morocco, Spain, China, Italy
- 250,000 saffron corms of local origin during financial year 2026-27
- Services including trainings, exposure visits, seminars, and workshops in different research stations of KP under a developmental scheme
The technical scope covers the supply of both imported and local saffron corms, ensuring quality and variety. The services component includes educational and capacity-building activities at various research stations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This tender requires firms to be registered on the E-PADS platform and comply with KPPRA rules. Firms must have active registration with FSC&R&D, FBR, and relevant departments for supply items, and KPRA registration is mandatory for service providers.
