Tender Description
This tender invites qualified firms to provide professional security services at the defunct Underground Coal Gasification Project Sites located in Block-V, Thar Coalfield, Islamkot, Tharparkar. The Sindh Coal Authority requires reliable security arrangements to safeguard the premises and assets at these remote sites in Sindh.
The scope involves deployment of trained security personnel familiar with the terrain and operational challenges of the Thar Coalfield region. The contractor must ensure continuous monitoring and protection of the site infrastructure, considering the isolated location and potential security risks. The work demands adherence to strict safety protocols and coordination with local authorities.
Bidders should ensure compliance with all relevant Sindh Public Procurement Rules, 2010 (Amended 2019), and maintain valid FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status for the fiscal year 2025-26. While PEC registration is not mandatory for security services, firms must demonstrate prior experience and capability in similar assignments. Earnest Money in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is required as per tender documents.
The submission deadline is set for the 23rd of January, 2026, with bids opening promptly at 10:00 AM at the Sindh Coal Authority Head Office in Karachi. Interested bidders must submit sealed envelopes containing technical and financial proposals as per the instructions.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender advertisement for specific Earnest Money and stamp duty requirements, as these are commonly overlooked and can lead to disqualification. Also, ensure all documents are complete and properly signed to avoid technical rejection.
