Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of advanced security and surveillance systems at the Peoples University of Medical and Health Sciences for Women in Nawabshah, Sindh. The procurement covers a comprehensive package including IP cameras, NVRs, POE switches, hard disks, network racks, cabling, and installation services. The project aims to enhance campus security with state-of-the-art Hikvision or equivalent branded equipment, ensuring robust monitoring capabilities across the Examination Branch New Campus and PITH Main Campus.
The scope involves deploying 4 MP and 8 MP smart hybrid light fixed bullet cameras, fish eye cameras, and high-capacity NVRs with up to 32 channels and 4K decoding capacity. The installation includes structured cabling with Cat-6 coils, PVC conduits, HDMI cables, and network racks, all conforming to TIA/EIA-568 standards. The engineering challenge lies in integrating these components seamlessly within the university's infrastructure while maintaining high standards of workmanship and compliance with technical specifications.
Bidders must be registered with NTN, GST, and SRB, and have at least three years of relevant experience with a minimum average annual turnover of PKR 13.5 million. Compliance with FBR active tax status and submission of all mandatory documents including bid security and tender fees is essential. The tender requires a valid Manufacturer Authorization Letter for quoted products and adherence to warranty and inspection protocols. The evaluation will be based on the lowest complete package bid.
The submission deadline is set for 16th February 2026 at 11:15 AM via the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority's Electronic Procurement and Disposal System (EPADS). Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:45 AM in the Conference Room of the Vice Chancellor at Latif Hall, PUMHSW. Physical documents such as bid security and tender fees must be delivered to the Deputy Director Purchase office before the deadline.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes all required documents and a clear technical compliance sheet with brand and model details. Missing or ambiguous information, especially use of terms like 'or equivalent' without specification, can lead to disqualification. Also, verify the exact stamp duty and bid security format as per the newspaper advertisement to avoid common pitfalls.
