Tender Description
The National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) Islamabad invites bids for the services and maintenance of flap barriers at the NICL Building located in Islamabad Capital Territory. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of flap barriers for a period of one year.
Items being procured:
- Services and Maintenance of Flap Barriers at NICL Building Islamabad for one year
The scope of work includes regular maintenance, servicing, and any necessary repairs to the flap barriers installed at the NICL Building. The contract duration is one year, and the service provider must ensure uninterrupted operation of the barriers throughout this period. The procurement will be conducted through the Single Stage-One Envelope Procedure using the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
Eligible bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and comply with all bidding document requirements including submission of bid security in the form of a Pay Order or Bid Securing Declaration. The bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, specifications, and requirements are available on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) portal.
The last date for submission of e-bids is Friday, July 31, 2026, by 10:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled for 10:30 AM the same day. Manual submissions will not be entertained. Interested vendors not yet registered on EPADS v2.0 are advised to register promptly to participate.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the bid security requirements and ensure timely registration on EPADS to avoid disqualification. Early preparation of technical and financial bids aligned with the LCBS method will enhance chances of success.
