Shifting of Power Transformers for replacement of damaged 10/13 MVA Power Transformer at 132KV Grid Station Chaint

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) is procuring services for the shifting of power transformers specifically for the replacement of a damaged 10/13 MVA Power Transformer (T-2) at the 132KV Grid Station Chaint in Islamabad Capital Territory. This procurement involves the loading, unloading, and transportation of 132/11KV 10/13 MVA Power Transformers from 132KV Grid Station E-8 Islamabad to 132KV Grid Station Chaint and then shifting the damaged transformer from Chaint to 132KV Zeropoint Grid Station for repair. The total distance covered is approximately 165 kilometers with the transformer weight around 60 tons including all accessories. The scope requires bidders to have in-house or attached transportation facilities such as heavy duty trailers and cranes along with trained personnel for safe loading and unloading at both grid stations. Insurance coverage for the transformers is mandatory and must be in the name of the procuring agency covering 100% of the cost. The estimated cost of each transformer is around **PKR 82 Million**. Bidders must be registered with FBR and have relevant experience in inter-provincial shifting of goods for at least two years. A bid security of Rs. 80,000 is required along with a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract price in the form of a bank guarantee from a scheduled bank.
