Shifting of Science Block Load on QASMS Net Meter and Library Electrical Works

Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad is procuring electrical works involving the shifting of the Science Block load on the QASMS Net Meter and associated library electrical works. This tender is specifically for the Islamabad campus and includes detailed electrical installation tasks. The technical scope covers providing and laying 185mm2 4 core aluminium cable in HDPE pipes, excavation and backfilling of trenches, construction of manholes with masonry and RCC concrete slabs, fixing MCCB 250A TP 25KA 415V breakers, installation of angle iron supports for cable hanging, and fixing of thimbles and rawal bolts for cable securing. All materials and workmanship must meet the satisfaction of the Engineer in-charge and comply with relevant standards. Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and ATL, possess a valid PEC category relevant to electrical works, and demonstrate prior experience in similar electrical installation projects. Submission of a 2% earnest money (Bid Security) amounting to Rs. 55,685 in the form of CDR or demand draft is mandatory. Tender document fee of Rs. 3000 is also required. The tender must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked and delivered to the Purchase & Store Section of Quaid-i-Azam University. Bids will be opened the same day at 2:30 PM in the Committee Room, Admin Block, QAU Islamabad. Late submissions will be rejected outright.
