Tender Description
Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Ltd (KS&EW), a leading shipbuilding and repair yard located in Karachi, invites sealed bids from experienced subcontractors for miscellaneous repair and maintenance work under Order No. CSR-10371. This procurement is specifically for marine vessel repair jobs requiring bidders to be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and to have relevant experience in ship repair work.

The scope includes various ship repair and maintenance tasks at the Ship Repair Division of KS&EW. Bidders must obtain the bidding documents, which contain detailed specifications, terms and conditions, bid security requirements, bid validity, evaluation criteria, and performance guarantee details. These documents are available at the Ship Repair Division, KS&EW, for a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,000 as per Public Procurement Rules 2004, Rule 23(5).
Bids must be prepared in accordance with the instructions provided and submitted by 14 September 2026 at 1100 hours to the Ship Repair Division, KS&EW. The technical proposals will be opened the same day at 1400 hours and evaluated against the prequalification criteria. Only technically qualified bidders will have their commercial offers opened on a date to be intimated by KS&EW.
KS&EW reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders as per Clause 33 of the Public Procurement Rules 2004.
