Upgradation of Signal Overhead Wires Converted into Underground Cable from SRB to KCK Station under Peoples Train Project

Pakistan Railways, through the Office of the Divisional Superintendent in Quetta, is inviting sealed bids for the upgradation of signal overhead wires, converting them into underground cable from SRB to KCK station under the Peoples Train Project. This procurement is being conducted under the Single Stage One Envelope procedure, and all interested contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in CE-10, EE-4, EE-5, EE-07, or EE-08 categories, and must also be included in the Active Taxpayers List of FBR for 2026. Items being procured: - Upgradation of signal overhead wires converted into underground cable from SRB to KCK station under Peoples Train Project (Approx Cost: Rs. 58,593,230/-, Earnest Money: Rs. 1,171,865/-, Completion Period: 4 Months, E-PADS Tender No: P-9953A6) The technical scope includes the supply of materials, execution of civil and electrical works, and all associated services required for the conversion of existing overhead signal wires to underground cabling. The project is to be completed within four months from the date of award. Bidders must submit their bids electronically through the E-Pads system, and a scanned copy of the bid security (CDR/Pay Order in the name of DAO/P.R. Quetta) is mandatory. The original bid security and hard copy of bidding documents must be submitted to the office of DASTE/PR Quetta (Signal Branch) as per the instructions in the bidding documents. Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration in the specified categories, FBR/ATL compliance, and submission of earnest money as specified. The deadline for bid submission is 14th September 2026 at 13:00 hours, and only bids uploaded to E-Pads will be entertained. Bids will be opened the same day at 12:30 hours in the office of IT Section DS Office/P.R. Quetta in the presence of firm representatives.
