Tender Description
The Directorate General of Archaeology and Museum, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites bids for small works related to the conservation, preservation, restoration, and development at Jamrud Fort District Khyber under the Khyber Pass Economic Corridor (KPEC) project. This procurement is part of the World Bank funded initiative to enhance cultural heritage sites.

The scope covers a variety of civil and conservation works including landscaping, plumbing, sewerage, and installation of display showcases. The site is Jamrud Fort, a heritage location requiring sensitive restoration and development. Bidders must be experienced contractors familiar with heritage conservation and civil works. Eligibility includes valid PEC registration, FBR/ATL compliance, and relevant experience in similar projects.
Bidding documents can be inspected and purchased at the Directorate General of Archaeology and Museum, Peshawar Museum, Engineering Wing, Peshawar Cantt during office hours 0900 to 1700. A non-refundable fee of PKR 5,000 is required. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 14, 2026, at 11:30 hours at the office of the Senior Archaeological Engineer, Directorate General of Archaeology and Museum, Peshawar.
Sealed bids must be delivered by 1400 hours on July 23, 2026. Electronic bids are not allowed. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of PKR 500,000 in the form of an irrevocable unconditional bank guarantee or CDR from a scheduled bank in Pakistan. Late bids will be rejected. Prices quoted must be final and inclusive of all taxes.
