Tender Description
The Balochistan Rural Support Programme (BRSP) based in Quetta is procuring consultancy services for a Socio Economic Baseline Study under the Enterprise Development Programme Cluster-2. This procurement is critical for assessing the socio-economic conditions in the project area to guide effective programme implementation.
The scope involves conducting a comprehensive baseline survey covering various socio-economic indicators. The consultancy will require field data collection, analysis, and reporting to provide a detailed understanding of the target communities. This study is essential for monitoring and evaluation purposes and will support evidence-based decision making.
Eligible bidders should have relevant experience in socio-economic research and baseline surveys, preferably with prior work in development projects. Registration with FBR and an active ATL status are mandatory. Firms or consultants must demonstrate technical capacity and past performance in similar assignments.
The tender was originally published on 30 April 2026 and the submission deadline has been extended to 25 May 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bidders must submit their proposals to the BRSP Head Office in Quetta. Earnest Money and CDR requirements will be detailed in the tender documents.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the updated evaluation criteria and discriminatory conditions as per BPPRA Rules 34 and 37, which have been rectified and published on the BPPRA website. Ensuring compliance with these updated rules will enhance the chances of a successful bid.
