Tender Description
The Public Health Engineering Division-II Peshawar is procuring multiple small scale solar based drinking water supply schemes (DWSS) and improvements/extensions of existing water supply schemes (WSS) across various union councils in Peshawar. This tender covers a wide range of works including installation of solar power systems for water supply, civil works for water infrastructure, and extension of water supply networks in areas such as Maryam Zai, Sheikh Muhammadi, Sulaiman Khel, Mattani, Gulberg, and others within Peshawar city.
The technical scope involves supply and installation of solar panels, pumps, and related electrical equipment to power the water supply schemes, along with civil construction works for water distribution and storage infrastructure. The projects are designed to serve scattered populations and small communities, enhancing access to clean drinking water through sustainable solar energy solutions. The tender also includes extension and improvement works for existing water supply schemes, requiring expertise in both electrical and civil engineering disciplines.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) and comply with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Procurement Rules 2014. Experience in similar solarized water supply projects and PEC registration in relevant categories is highly recommended. Bidders must submit a Technical Bid and Financial Bid under the Single Stage Two Envelopes Procedure. Earnest Money in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) and a non-refundable bidding document fee of Rs. 2000 are mandatory for bid submission.
The last date for bid submission is the 22nd of June, 2026, by 12:00 PM, with technical bids opening at 12:30 PM on the same day. Bids must be uploaded through the EPADS portal, while original bid securities and document fees must be physically submitted to the Executive Engineer's office at Garhi Qamar Din Chowk, Kohat Road, near Ring Road, Peshawar.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all uploaded documents on EPADS are clear and readable to avoid disqualification. Also, timely physical submission of original CDRs and fees is crucial as late submissions will not be entertained. Careful attention to the detailed Bill of Quantities and eligibility criteria will improve chances of success in this competitive tender.
