Tender Description
This tender invites qualified suppliers to provide and install a complete solar power system at the WAPDA Lahore Division office. Located in Lahore, this project focuses on sustainable energy solutions to reduce dependency on conventional power sources. The scope includes supply of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and all necessary mounting and wiring equipment.
The installation site is within the urban limits of Lahore, requiring careful planning to integrate the system with existing electrical infrastructure. The engineering challenge lies in optimizing panel placement for maximum sunlight exposure while ensuring compliance with local safety standards and minimizing disruption to office operations.
Bidders should hold a valid PEC Category C-4 or above and must be registered with the FBR with an active ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. It is advisable to prepare the Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as earnest money and ensure all technical and financial documents are complete to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline is set for the 15th of June 2024, with bid opening scheduled at 10:00 AM on the same day. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes at the WAPDA Lahore Division office located on Canal Bank Road, Lahore.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to verify the stamp duty requirements mentioned in the newspaper advertisement, as missing this can lead to bid rejection. Also, double-check the technical specifications to align with the latest energy efficiency standards.
