Tender Description
This tender invites contractors in Karachi under the Estate Office Management, Ministry of Housing & Works, for specialized repair, renovation, and upgradation of electrical and mechanical installations. The scope covers multiple sites including windows houses, mosques, and residential colonies, focusing on enhancing existing E/M systems with adherence to Pak PWD Schedule 2022 and market rates.
The work involves detailed electrical and mechanical repairs, requiring contractors to have valid registration with the income tax department as active taxpayers, a federal or Sindh region electrical license, and registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant categories EE-M, EE-06, EE-11, ME-01, ME-06, and ME-07. The contract duration is 90 days from the issuance of the letter of commencement, with a focus on quality and timely completion in Karachi's urban environment.
Bidders must ensure compliance with PEC registration in the specified categories and maintain an active FBR ATL status for the financial year 2025-26. The tender requires submission of earnest money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favor of the Deputy Director, Estate Office Management, Karachi. Contractors should also provide evidence of completing at least three similar E/M works in the government sector within the last five years, supported by work orders and completion certificates.
The submission deadline is set for 27th January 2026 at 10:00 AM, with electronic bids to be submitted via EPADs only. The technical bids will be opened the same day at 10:30 AM in the Conference Room, Quaid-e-Azam Club, Karachi.
