Tender Description
The Estate Office Management Islamabad is procuring specialized works for the Special Repair, Upgradation and Modification to Electrical and Mechanical Installations at the Ministry of Housing and Works Offices located in Islamabad. This procurement is specifically for the financial year 2025-26 and involves comprehensive electrical and mechanical repair and upgrade tasks within the Ministry's office premises.
The technical scope includes dismantling and replacement of defective electrical wiring, switches, sockets, LED lighting fixtures, fans, distribution boards, breakers, wiring for TV and ethernet cables, servicing of air conditioning units, gas and electric geyser installation, and associated civil works such as fixing expansion joints and repairing wooden doors. The work also covers installation of PVC ducts, flexible conduits, and other electrical accessories as per approved specifications. The scale of work is significant, involving hundreds of points and meters of wiring, multiple electrical fixtures, and mechanical servicing tasks.
Eligible bidders must be enlisted with PEC in Category C6 or above for the year 2025-26 with specialized codes EE02, EE04, ME-01 & ME07. They must have completed at least three E/M works in the last three years each worth a minimum of Rs. 4 million. Valid Electrical License for Federal/Punjab region and FBR/ATL registration are mandatory. Bidders must submit a complete item-wise priced Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and comply with all bid security and performance guarantee requirements.
The submission deadline is Monday, June 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM via the EPADS v2.0 system. Bids must be submitted electronically; manual submissions will not be accepted. The contract completion period is 15 calendar days from signing. The performance guarantee is 10% of the contract value, and liquidated damages apply for delays beyond the stipulated time. The contract will be awarded on a least cost basis.
