Tender Description

This tender invites contractors in Ormara, Balochistan, to undertake multiple construction and installation projects under the Municipal Committee Ormara. The scope includes the purchase and installation of 150 street lights along with the supply of 150 dust bins, laying of PVC and drainage pipelines, construction of fishermen waiting shades, repair works on community buildings, and installation of a complete solar system at the Municipal Committee office. These works require expertise in civil construction, electrical installations, and pipeline laying, all within the urban and semi-urban settings of Ormara. The projects involve handling materials such as tuff tiles, PVC pipes, and solar equipment, with work sites spread across various wards and localities including Dad Karim Zikar Khana, Islamia Lane, and Kuntagi Lane. Contractors must be prepared to manage logistical challenges posed by the coastal and developing infrastructure of Ormara, ensuring quality and timely completion in line with the composite schedule of rates 2023. Bidders must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in Category C-6 or above for the relevant disciplines. Compliance with tax authorities including NTN and Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA) registration is mandatory. The tender requires firms to have relevant work experience and turnover over the last three years, and they must not be blacklisted by any Pakistani procuring agency. The bid validity period is ninety days, and earnest money of 2% of the estimated cost must be submitted as a Call Deposit Receipt. The last date for bid submission is set for 05 March 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 12:00 PM at the Municipal Committee Ormara office.
