Tender Description
This tender from the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Islamabad calls for the providing and installation of street lights in the internal streets of Sector I-11/1. The project involves electrical works focused on enhancing urban infrastructure with modern street lighting solutions to improve safety and visibility in this sector.
The scope covers the complete installation of street lighting systems including poles, wiring, fixtures, and associated electrical components. The work site is located in Islamabad, requiring careful planning to minimize disruption to residents and ensure compliance with local electrical standards. The engineering challenge lies in integrating the lighting system efficiently within existing urban layouts while ensuring durability and energy efficiency.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and hold an electrical license appropriate for the value of works. Compliance with FBR and ATL requirements for the financial year 2025-26 is mandatory. Firms should prepare their bids with attention to PEC category qualifications and ensure all tax documentation is up to date to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline is set for 4th December 2025, with bids to be submitted electronically via the E-PADs portal before closing time. Technical bids will be opened first, followed by financial bids of technically qualified firms. The physical address for correspondence is Room No. 47, Ground Floor, Old Naval Head Quarter G-6, Islamabad.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to submit the Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) for Earnest Money clearly indicating the firm's name and ensure the technical bid is attested on stamp paper worth not less than Rs.50, as these are common pitfalls leading to bid rejection.
