Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites E-Bids for the fiscal year 2026-27 from qualified bidders, manufacturers, or joint ventures for the supply of electrical materials. The procurement is specifically for the Islamabad region and requires compliance with prototype approval and type test standards as per the bidding documents. Items being procured: - 15 kV XLPE Power Cable (unarmoured) 240mm² 500MCM Single Core, Lot I, Quantity 400 Km - 15 kV XLPE Power Cable (unarmoured) 240mm² 500MCM Single Core, Lot II, Quantity 400 Km - 15 kV XLPE Power Cable (unarmoured) 240mm² 500MCM Single Core, Lot III, Quantity 400 Km The technical scope includes supply of high-quality 15 kV XLPE power cables conforming to specification P 29:2010 (amended to date). The cables are unarmoured and single core, suitable for power distribution networks. The delivery location is IESCO Regional Store, Islamabad. Bidders must ensure the materials meet all technical and quality standards as prescribed. Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration, FBR/ATL compliance, and relevant experience in supplying similar electrical cables. Bidders must submit their bids electronically via the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADS v2.0) portal. The bidding process follows a Single Stage Two Envelope basis under International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedure. The bid security must be submitted as a bank guarantee or CDR from a scheduled bank rated A+ or above, valid for 88 days. The tender opening date is 8th September 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid submission closing at 10:30 AM the same day. Bidders or their authorized representatives may attend the opening at IESCO Head Office, G-7/4 Street No.40, Islamabad. In case of a holiday or strike, the tender will be opened on the next working day at the same time and venue. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your bid security is from a scheduled Pakistani bank with the required rating and validity period to avoid disqualification.
