Tender Description
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites e-Bids from pre-qualified and registered firms or manufacturers for the supply of 200 KVA Pole Mounted Distribution Transformers. The delivery is required on a free delivery basis to IESCO Regional Stores located in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Rajjar, and Wah. This procurement is specifically for the fiscal year 2025-26 and aims to enhance the electrical distribution infrastructure in these key cities.
The technical scope includes supplying 700 units of 200 KVA pole mounted transformers that conform to the relevant WAPDA/NTDC specifications, amended to date. The materials must meet the standards set by the Chief Engineer (Purchase & Disposal) and Standard & Specification departments, ensuring quality and reliability. Bidders must have valid prototype approval if applicable, and the transformers should be suitable for the regional electrical network requirements.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Chief Engineer (Purchase & Disposal) or NTDC Lahore or WAPDA/PPMC/DISCOS and must have valid FBR registration for the year 2025-26. Firms should also have experience in supplying similar electrical equipment and must submit a sealed Bid Security or Guarantee in the form of a Bank Guarantee or CDR from a scheduled bank rated A+ or above. The bid security must be valid for 150 days and submitted before the bid closing time.
The tender closing date is **14th May 2026**, with bids to be received by 10:30 AM and opened at 11:00 AM on the same day at the office of the Chief Engineer (Material Management), IESCO Head Office, Islamabad. Bidders are advised to submit their bids online through the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADS 2.0) portal. The tender will be processed on a Single Stage One Envelope basis.
