Supply of 50 Diesel Double Decker Buses for Karachi

Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA) Karachi is procuring a fleet of 50 diesel double decker buses to implement an integrated bus operations model aimed at providing high quality public transport services in Karachi. The procurement includes supply of buses, spare parts for two years, tools, diagnostic equipment, and driver and maintenance training programs. The buses must meet detailed technical specifications including dimensions, passenger capacity, engine performance, safety, and ITS features as per the Employer's Requirements. The Supplier is responsible for delivery to designated depots, inland transport, and comprehensive insurance including terrorism and sabotage coverage valid for the contract term. Eligibility requires compliance with PEC categories, valid FBR registration, and experience in bus manufacturing. Bids must be submitted through SPPRA EPAD system by the specified deadline. Technical and financial proposals must be complete and conform to the prescribed formats. Earnest Money in the form of Bid Security of PKR 50 million is mandatory. The Supplier must provide Advance Payment Security, Performance Security, and Warranty Bond as per contract terms.
