Tender Description
The Office of the Provincial Election Commissioner Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites bids for the supply of assorted election materials required for the upcoming Local Government Elections in Peshawar. This procurement is critical to ensure smooth and transparent electoral processes in the province. The materials include plastic seals with specific dimensions, tamper evident bags of two sizes, and other related election supplies as per approved samples. The total quantities required are substantial, reflecting the scale of the electoral exercise.
Suppliers must provide clear and legible rates inclusive of all applicable taxes and transportation charges to the delivery location. Delivery is to be completed within 30 days from the issuance of the work order, with the materials to be supplied to the office of the Provincial Election Commissioner in Peshawar. Firms must submit three sets of samples along with their bids and ensure compliance with the technical specifications. Bid security in the form of Pay Order or CDR is mandatory for each item, and a performance guarantee of 5% of the contract value is required from the successful bidder.
Eligibility criteria include valid FBR registration, non-defaulter status, and relevant experience with documentary evidence. Firms should ideally have ISO certification and a minimum of three years of experience in supplying similar materials. The technical evaluation carries 40 marks, and only firms scoring 20 or above will have their financial bids opened. The financial evaluation will consider the most advantageous bid based on combined technical and financial weightage.
The submission deadline and address will be specified in the tender documents. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial proposals, ensuring all required documents and samples are included. A practical tip for bidders is to double-check the sample quality and ensure it matches the approved specifications exactly, as sub-standard supplies will be rejected and require replacement at the supplier's cost.
