Tender Description
The Directorate of Procurement (Navy), located at Naval Residential Complex Sector E-8, Islamabad, invites qualified suppliers to participate in the procurement of defence stores and equipment. This tender is specifically issued by the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) and targets suppliers capable of meeting the technical and commercial requirements outlined in the tender documents.
The scope of this procurement includes the supply of various defence-related stores and equipment as detailed in the Schedule to Tender (Form DP-2). Suppliers are required to submit a comprehensive technical offer in duplicate, including all relevant specifications, literature, and compliance documentation, alongside a separate commercial offer. Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) must accompany the bid as per the stipulated amounts based on firm registration status. The tender emphasizes strict adherence to the Defence Purchase Procedure & Instructions (DPP&I) and PPRA Rules 2004.
Eligible bidders must be registered or willing to register with the Directorate General Defence Purchase (DGDP) and possess valid FBR/ATL registration. Experience in supplying defence stores or similar equipment is essential. Firms must submit all required forms (DP-1, DP-2, DP-3) duly signed and stamped, along with treasury challan and other supporting documents. The tender opening and submission procedures are clearly defined, with technical bids opened first followed by commercial bids.
The submission deadline is strictly enforced, with late bids not entertained. Offers must remain valid for 120 days from the date of commercial bid opening or until 30th June, whichever is later. The tender documents must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) through Bahria Gate Near SNIDS Centre, CDA Market, Naval Residential Complex, Sector E-8, Islamabad. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all technical and commercial documents are properly sealed and clearly marked to avoid disqualification. Confirming receipt of tender documents by phone before the opening date is also advisable to prevent any postal delays.
This procurement offers a significant opportunity for suppliers with the capability to meet the stringent requirements of the Pakistan Navy and contribute to national defence readiness.
