Supply of Diesel for Generators
Tender Description
The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) is procuring diesel fuel for generators. This procurement is essential for ensuring uninterrupted power supply and operational efficiency of WAPDA's power generation units. The supply of diesel will support the continuous running of generators across various sites managed by WAPDA.
The scope includes the delivery of high-quality diesel fuel meeting required specifications for power generation. Suppliers must be capable of timely and consistent supply to meet operational demands. This tender is crucial for maintaining the energy infrastructure and supporting Pakistan's power needs.
Eligible bidders should have valid FBR registration and be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in supplying fuel to large-scale power or industrial projects will be advantageous. While no specific PEC category is mandated, bidders must demonstrate capacity to handle bulk fuel supply contracts.
The submission deadline is set for 2024-07-04 at 23:59:59. Interested suppliers should prepare their Technical and Financial Bids carefully, including Earnest Money in the form of a CDR as per tender requirements. Bids must be submitted to the designated WAPDA procurement office before the closing date.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all documentation, especially tax and registration certificates, are up to date and included in the Technical Bid. Late or incomplete submissions are commonly rejected. Early preparation and thorough compliance with tender instructions will improve chances of success.
