Tender Description
The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Lahore office is procuring diesel fuel for generators to support uninterrupted power supply at its facilities. This procurement is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring backup power availability during outages.
The scope includes the supply and delivery of high-quality diesel fuel meeting national standards. The diesel will be used across multiple generator units at WAPDA installations in Lahore. Suppliers must ensure timely delivery and compliance with fuel quality specifications to avoid operational disruptions.
Eligible bidders should possess a valid PEC registration in the relevant category and be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in supplying fuel to government departments or large industrial clients will be advantageous. Submission of an earnest money deposit (CDR) as specified in the tender documents is mandatory.
The tender was published on 10th June 2024, with a closing date set for 17th June 2024 at 23:59:59. Bidders must submit their technical and financial bids separately in sealed envelopes to the Procurement Department of WAPDA Lahore before the deadline. Late submissions will not be entertained.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the technical specifications and ensure all required documents, including the CDR and proof of registration, are complete and attached. Incomplete bids are often rejected during the technical evaluation phase, so attention to detail can significantly improve chances of success.
