Tender Description
The Sindh Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Karachi is procuring diesel fuel for its generator sets to ensure uninterrupted power supply at its various operational sites across the city. This procurement is critical for maintaining continuous water and sanitation services in Karachi, a city with high demand for reliable utility operations.
The scope includes the supply and delivery of high-quality diesel fuel meeting the required specifications for generator use. The fuel will be used at multiple WASA facilities, ensuring backup power during outages. Suppliers must be capable of timely delivery and compliance with quality standards to avoid operational disruptions.
Eligible bidders should possess valid PEC registration in the relevant category, be registered with FBR and ATL, and demonstrate prior experience in supplying fuel to government or large-scale industrial clients. Submission of earnest money in the form of a CDR is mandatory as per tender requirements. The technical bid should clearly outline compliance with specifications and delivery schedules.
The tender closing date is set for 14th June 2024 at 23:59:59. Bidders must submit their proposals to the Sindh WASA procurement office in Karachi before the deadline. Late submissions will not be entertained. It is advisable to carefully review the tender documents and ensure all required documents, including CDR and registration certificates, are complete and properly attested.
A practical tip for bidders is to arrange for early submission and double-check the validity of all financial and technical documents. This reduces the risk of disqualification due to minor errors or omissions. Being thorough and punctual can significantly improve chances of success in this competitive procurement.
