Tender Description
The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) is procuring diesel fuel for generators. This procurement is essential to ensure uninterrupted power supply and operational efficiency of WAPDA's power generation units. The diesel supply will be used across various generator sites managed by WAPDA, supporting critical infrastructure and energy production.
The scope includes the supply and delivery of high-quality diesel fuel meeting required standards for generator use. Suppliers must ensure timely delivery and compliance with technical specifications to maintain generator performance and avoid operational downtime. This tender is crucial for sustaining power generation capacity and supporting Pakistan's energy needs.
Eligible bidders should be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in fuel supply contracts, particularly for power generation or industrial use, will be advantageous. While no specific PEC category is mandated, bidders must demonstrate capability to supply diesel in required quantities and within stipulated timelines.
The submission deadline is 7th November 2023 at 23:59:59. Bidders must submit their technical and financial bids in accordance with the tender documents. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) or Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) must accompany the bid as per instructions. The submission address and detailed terms will be provided in the tender documents issued by WAPDA.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all documentation, including FBR registration and CDR, is complete and valid at the time of submission. Delays or incomplete paperwork can lead to disqualification. Early preparation and thorough review of the tender requirements will improve chances of success in this competitive procurement.
