Tender Description
The Atomic Energy Cancer Hospital (LINAR) Larkana invites reputable pharmaceutical companies, approved distributors, firms, and suppliers from across Pakistan to submit bids for the supply of drugs and medicines for cancer patients under the Pakistan Bait ul Mal (I.F.A) Programme for the financial year 2026-27, with a possible extension for one additional year. This procurement is governed by the Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (amended 2019) and follows a Single Stage Two Envelope bidding procedure via the SPPRA EPADS portal.
Items being procured include a comprehensive list of anti-cancer medicines and related pharmaceutical products as detailed in the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) spanning pages 27 to 30 of the bidding documents. Some of the key medicines include Tab. Abemaciclib 150 mg, Inj. Ado-transtuzumab 100 mg, Cap. Capcitabine 500 mg, Inj. Cisplatin 50 mg, Inj. Docetaxel 80 mg, Tab. Erlotinib 150 mg, Inj. Gemcitabine 1000 mg, Inj. Nivolumab 100 mg, Inj. Paclitaxel 150 mg, Tab. Sunitinib 50 mg, and many others totaling nearly 194 listed items.
The technical scope requires supply of original, high-quality medicines conforming to DRAP and other international regulatory standards. The medicines must be delivered to the central store of AECH-LINAR Larkana. Substandard or refurbished items will be rejected. Inspection will be conducted upon arrival in the presence of supplier representatives. The contract duration is initially one year, extendable by mutual consent for another year.
Eligibility criteria include valid registration with DRAP, FBR, and Sales Tax Department, at least three years of relevant experience, active taxpayer status, and submission of bid security amounting to 1% of the estimated cost (approx. Rs. 500,000). Bidders must not be blacklisted and must comply with all mandatory documentation requirements.
Key dates are as follows: bidding documents available from 10 October 2026, bid submission deadline on 30 October 2026 at 10:30 am, and bid opening on the same day at 11:00 am in the Auditorium Hall of AECH-LINAR Larkana. Bids must be submitted online via SPPRA EPADS portal. Tender fees of Rs. 5,000 are payable via demand draft or pay order in favor of Larkana Cancer Society LINAR.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure complete and accurate submission of all required documents and compliance with technical specifications to avoid disqualification. Early preparation and careful review of the BOQ and eligibility criteria will enhance chances of success.
This tender offers a significant opportunity for pharmaceutical suppliers to contribute to cancer care in Sindh by supplying essential medicines to a leading specialized hospital in Larkana.
