Tender Description
The Pakistan Navy Local Purchase Division in Karachi is procuring a diverse range of electronic, mechanical, and office equipment. This procurement includes items such as RJ45 connectors for Ethernet cables, Yamaha spark plugs, CCTV system converters, batteries for RHIB boats, police boat battery chargers, hospital white cotton sheets, elbow pipes, hospital blankets, various sizes of Peshawari rubber sandals, centrifugal pumps with motor starters, power extension boards, automatic bilge pumps, local area network switches, shower units, stationery items, laptops, printers, UPS systems, SFP modules, and personal computers with Intel Core i5 processors.
The technical scope covers a wide variety of products sourced both locally and internationally, including Schneider Electric connectors, Yamaha motors, CETC CCTV equipment, Optima batteries from the USA, Vetus marine batteries from the Netherlands, Philips electrical components, and other specialized items. Delivery timelines are 15 days for locally available items and 45 days for imported goods. All firms, whether registered or unregistered, must pay a tender fee of Rs 500 and unregistered firms are required to provide a bank guarantee of 5% of the purchase order value. Registration with HQ COMLOG is encouraged to avoid the bank guarantee requirement.
Eligible bidders should be registered with FBR and ATL, and possess relevant experience in supplying similar goods. The tender emphasizes the importance of submitting technical and financial bids with all required documents including proof of online payment or bank drafts. The submission deadline is **29-06-2026**. Queries can be addressed via email or phone to the Local Purchase Division.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration with HQ COMLOG to avoid the 5% bank guarantee payment, which can improve cash flow and reduce upfront costs. Also, carefully review the technical specifications and enclose all required brochures and quotations to avoid disqualification during the technical evaluation phase.
