Tender Description
The Pakistan Navy, through its Attaché Defence Procurement office based in London, invites qualified suppliers to submit quotations for the supply of an Epoxy Coating Kit (INTERSHIELD 851) as detailed in the Schedule to Tender DSN/10917. This procurement is specifically for brand-new, factory fresh materials that meet Defence specifications and original manufacturers' standards. The supply is intended for export to Pakistan, with delivery terms FOB UK port.
The technical scope includes the supply of 1930 liters of epoxy coating kit, packed in two components (Component A: 10 liters, Component B: 2.5 liters) to be delivered in two equal batches. The first batch is required within three months of contract signing, and the second batch after eight months from the delivery of the first batch. OEM conformity certificates, test certificates, and lab analysis reports must accompany the supply. The stores must be packed in original sealed OEM packaging with a minimum of 85% shelf life remaining at delivery. Flash points and inflammability markings are mandatory on each container.
Eligible bidders should be registered with FBR and ATL, and must provide firm warranty guarantees on form DPL-15. Experience in supplying defence-grade materials and compliance with export licensing requirements is essential. The tender submission deadline is 22 May 2026 at 1130 hours, with bids opened the same day at 1230 hours at the High Commission for Pakistan, London. Bidders must submit sealed envelopes clearly marked 'Tender Inside' and separate offers for each tender to avoid confusion.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all documentation, including OEM authorization, conformity certificates, and export licenses, are complete and submitted timely to avoid disqualification. Also, note that performance bank guarantees of 5-10% of the offer value valid for 60 days beyond delivery will be required upon contract award. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers experienced in defence procurement to engage with the Pakistan Navy through a transparent and well-structured process.
