Supply of Filter Elements for Gas Transmission System

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) Karachi is procuring filter elements for its natural gas transmission system. This procurement is specific to Karachi and involves supply of filter elements designed for fine filtration, retention of solid contaminants, and coalescing of liquid mist and fog in gas pipelines. The tender includes two types of filter elements: PECO Filter FG-336 (one micron) and PECO Filter FG-372 (one micron), with quantities of 3000 and 2000 units respectively. The technical specifications require media made of seamless phenolic impregnated high-density fiberglass tube or polypropylene or borosilicate glass microfibers, with a steel core and cotton sock outer cover. The filter elements must withstand system pressure of 50 PSID and operate at a maximum temperature of 240°F. End caps must be steel with chemical resistant adhesive sealing. Delivery is expected within 45 to 60 days after purchase order confirmation. Eligible bidders must be active on the FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL) and comply with all SSGC procurement terms. The tender follows a single stage one envelope bidding procedure under PPRA rules 2004. Earnest money (fixed bid bond) of PKR 410,000 is required. Bidders should submit sealed quotations by 19-May-2026 16:00 hours at the Tender Room, CRD Building, Ground Floor, SSGC Head Office Karachi. The bid opening will be at 16:30 hours the same day. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure participation via EPADS and to attach the original token slip issued at the time of purchasing tender documents with the sealed envelope. This is mandatory to avoid rejection. Also, confirm all documents are signed, stamped, and uploaded on EPADS before the deadline to ensure compliance and avoid disqualification.
