Tender Description
The Deputy Secretary of the Gilgit-Baltistan Directorate General has announced procurement for the fiscal year 2026-27. This tender invites bids from recognized suppliers and contractors for the supply of essential goods and services to support government operations in Gilgit. The procurement is divided into three main categories with specific items and respective earnest money requirements.
Items being procured:
- Gasoline (120,000 PKR earnest money)
- Office Stationery (100,000 PKR earnest money)
- Miscellaneous Items (50,000 PKR earnest money)
The technical scope includes the supply of gasoline for official use, a comprehensive range of office stationery, and various other items as required by the department. The procurement process mandates submission of a complete CDR as earnest money, clearly labeled with the tender name and package number. Incomplete or unclear submissions will be rejected. The bidders must ensure that all documents are complete and submitted before the deadlines.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have relevant experience and registration with FBR and ATL. The tender emphasizes the importance of technical and financial capability, with a preference for suppliers who have a proven track record in similar government contracts. The tender also specifies that the bidders must comply with GB PPRA Rule 33(1) and provide all necessary documentation.
The submission deadlines are strictly set for August 6, 2026, with the following schedule: gasoline bids by 10:00 AM, office stationery by 11:00 AM, and miscellaneous items by 12:00 PM. The technical bids will be opened shortly after the submission times. All bids must be submitted to the Deputy Secretary's office in Gilgit.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the CDRs are properly labeled and submitted in original form to avoid disqualification. Late or incomplete bids will not be entertained. Attention to detail in documentation and timely submission will increase the chances of success in this competitive tender.
