Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Non-registered firms are required to pay a bank guarantee of 5% of the purchase order value but are encouraged to register with HQ COMLOG to avoid this. The procurement process requires payment of a tender fee of Rs 500 per quotation, payable via bank draft, pay order, or online transfer to the specified Pakistan Navy fund account.
The tender opening date is set for 28th April 2026, with submissions to be made to the Local Purchase Division, Pakistan Navy, Karachi. Contact details include phone numbers 021-48508524 and 48508828, and emails clp@paknavy.gov.pk and localpurchasedivision@gmail.com.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely submission of proof of online payment or bank draft along with the quotation to avoid disqualification. Also, registering with HQ COMLOG can save the cost and hassle of providing a bank guarantee, streamlining the bidding process.
