Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 300 KVA Diesel Generator

The International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences University of Karachi, Karachi, is procuring a 300 KVA Diesel Generator set including supply, installation, testing, and commissioning. This tender is specifically for the Karachi location under the ICCBS department. The generator must be standby type, three-phase, water-cooled, with a minimum prime power rating of 270 KVA and comply with ISO 8528 standards. The scope includes the generator set, ATS and AMF control panel, power and control cables, civil works such as foundation and earth pits, and proper installation with exhaust ducting and thermal lagging. The generator must be of American, European, Japanese make or equivalent with OEM authorization certificates. Warranty of one year covering all spare parts and free service for three years is mandatory. The supplier must have in-house capacity for minor and major overhauling and a laboratory for fuel pump calibration approved by the OEM. Bidders must be registered with FBR, have valid tax documents, and demonstrate at least three years of relevant experience with a minimum annual turnover equal to the bid amount. PEC registration and verifiable references are required. The bid security is 2% of the bid value, and performance security is 5% of the purchase order value. Bids must be submitted through EPADS by 21-July-2026 at 11:30 AM, with original bid security submitted to the Purchase Department ICCBS before the deadline. The technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 12:00 PM.
