Supply and Installation of Approximately 50 LAN Nodes with Passive Infrastructure Works

Pakistan Revenue Automation Pvt Limited (PRAL) invites sealed bids for the supply and installation of approximately 50 LAN nodes including all associated passive infrastructure works at the Directorate of Internal Audit, FBR, CDA Block G-6, Islamabad. This procurement covers high-quality Category-A materials and components compliant with industry standards, including structured cabling, I/O outlets, cable ducts/trunking, patching, termination, labeling, testing, and commissioning services. Items being procured: - Approximately 50 LAN nodes - Corning or equivalent Cat 6 Cable (3,220 ft / 981 m) - CAT6 24-Port Patch Panels (2 units) - CAT6 Keystone Jacks (60 units) - CAT6 Patch Cords 1m and 3m (50 units each) - Dual-Port Face Plates (30 units) - Surface/Flush Mount Back Boxes (30 units) - PVC Ducts of various sizes (total lengths: 22, 31, 0, 13 units respectively) - Rawl Plugs (600 units) - Screws 1-1/2" (300 units) and 2" (200 units) - Cable Ties & Velcro Straps (2 lots) - 12U Wall Mount Racks (2 units) - Rack PDUs (6-Port, 2 units) - Horizontal Cable Managers 1U (2 units) - Rack Fan Trays (2 units) - Earthing/Grounding Kits (2 sets) - Labeling & Identification (1 lot) - Testing, Certification & Documentation for each node (50 points) The vendor is responsible for complete installation, termination, dressing, labeling, testing, and commissioning of the LAN passive infrastructure with proper workmanship. PRAL reserves the right to inspect and verify all materials prior to installation. Only new, genuine, and defect-free materials are acceptable. The successful bidder must have relevant expertise in structured LAN and passive networking infrastructure implementation. Bidders must be registered and qualified, with compliance to PEC category if applicable, and valid FBR/ATL registration. Bid security or bid securing declaration is required as per bidding documents. The procurement will follow a Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method under a Single Stage One Envelope procedure. Key dates: Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Monday, September 28, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bid opening will be on the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual submissions are not accepted. The delivery schedule requires completion within 7 days from contract issuance, with full installation and final sign-off within 6 weeks.
