Tender Description
The Pakistan Mint Lahore is procuring a CNC Turning Machine along with allied electrical, pneumatic, and minor civil works under the supervision of the Project Director Modernization & Up-gradation of Pakistan Mint Phase-II-A. This procurement includes supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a CNC Turning Machine with specifications such as a swing over bed diameter of 320 mm or above, X, Y, and Z axis strokes, spindle speed of 4000 RPM or more, Siemens SINUMERIC 828 D CNC controller, and a minimum one-year warranty. Additionally, the scope covers supply and laying of power and earth cables, installation of cable trays, pneumatic and water piping, inverter AC installation, and minor civil works like machine foundation and isolation.
Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and have NTN and GST certificates along with an active tax-payer list registration for the current financial year. The supplier must have an office in Punjab or Islamabad Capital Territory and provide a bid security of Rs. 2.5 million in the form of CDR, Banker's Cheque, or Bank Guarantee. The tender follows a single stage one envelope bidding procedure through the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADS) portal. The closing date for submission is **25-05-2026** by 11:30 AM at Pakistan Mint Lahore, with public opening at 12:00 PM the same day.
Bidders should ensure their financial bids are inclusive of all taxes and free from cutting or erasing. The bid must be submitted on company letterhead, signed and stamped, with all required documents including technical specifications and warranty details. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare and submit the filled hard copy of bidding documents along with the online submission to avoid disqualification. Also, ensure the brand and make of the machinery are clearly mentioned and that the machine model is operational in at least two recognized mints, as inspection visits may be required at the contractor's expense.
This tender offers a significant opportunity for suppliers experienced in CNC machinery and allied electrical and civil works to engage with a prestigious government entity. The earnest money and performance security requirements emphasize the seriousness of the procurement. Timely submission and adherence to all technical and financial conditions will be critical for success.
