Tender Description

This tender is issued by the State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan Sheikhupura Zone for the supply, installation, commissioning, and testing of a 100 KVA Diesel Generator Set at their Zonal Office located at Al-Sharif Plaza, Near Children Hospital, Sargodha Road, Sheikhupura. The procurement is specifically for a brand new 100 KVA Diesel Generator Set with prime power rating, inline 4 cylinders, 4 stroke, rated RPM 1500, and a fuel tank sufficient for consumption during running hours. The generator must include a tropical radiator with water level switch indicator, a UK-based alternator with prime power rating 230/440 V, 4-pole 50 Hz, a fully insulated automatic transfer switch or equivalent, a heavy-duty residential grade silencer, flexible exhaust pipe with max temperature 500 Centigrade, and a 1-year standard warranty. The canopy must be made of M.S with requisite cabling, earthing, foundation pad, and all accessories for installation and commissioning. Chinese origin equipment is explicitly not acceptable. Items being procured: - 100 KVA Diesel Generator Set with AMF control instruments - ATS Panel with imported components - Spare parts including Air Filter (1 set), Oil Filter (1 set), Fuel Filter (1 set), Driving Belt (1 set), and additional recommended spare parts (1 set) - Miscellaneous items such as circuit breaker, MCCB of Japan/France/Germany or equivalent make The technical scope includes supply and installation of the complete DG set with all control wiring, interlocks, pipe work, exhaust system, skid mounted fuel day tank, ducting, control panels, foundation pads, and related civil works. The generator must comply with Pakistan Electricity Rules, 1973 and the latest I.E.E regulations. The supplier must provide maintenance visits every alternate month during the defect liability period of 3 months and emergency visits on call. The warranty covers 12 months or 1000 hours, whichever comes first. Eligibility criteria require the firm to have at least 3 years of relevant experience, valid GST, Income Tax, and Sales Tax registration, affidavit of no blacklisting, PEC registration certificate, OEM/Dealership certificate of foreign principal, and financial worth of at least PKR 20 million over the last three years. The bid security of PKR 160,000 must be submitted in the form of bank draft, pay order, or CDR in favor of State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan Sheikhupura Zone before bid opening. The successful bidder must provide a 5% performance guarantee of the quoted bid value. The tender closing date is **12 August 2026** with bid opening at 10:30 AM on the same day. Bids must be submitted through E-PADS (2.0V) portal. The submission must be in sealed envelopes with all terms and conditions signed and stamped. Pre-bid site visits are recommended to ensure complete understanding of the scope and conditions. No TA/DA will be provided for the pre-bid visit. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your bid clearly mentions the maker's name and model number of the generator and all components, and strictly comply with the technical specifications to avoid disqualification.
