Tender Description
The Infrastructure Development Authority of the Punjab (IDAP) invites bids for the supply, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of endoscopy equipment (Package No. 6, Lot-A) for the establishment of the Federal Government Polyclinic (PGMI)-II located at G-11/3, Islamabad. This procurement is specifically managed by IDAP, headquartered in Lahore, but the project site is Islamabad, requiring delivery and installation at the designated location.
The technical scope includes a comprehensive endoscopy system comprising high-definition video endoscopy systems, various types of gastroscopes, colonoscopes, duodenoscopes, endoscopy cabinets, washers, a diathermy machine dedicated for endoscopy, and a flexible video bronchoscope therapeutic. The equipment must meet stringent technical specifications including advanced imaging capabilities, compatibility with accessories, and compliance with international quality standards such as FDA 510K, CE, or MHLW certifications. The supplier is responsible for all related MEP works, including water supply, drainage, power outlets, and communication cabling necessary for full operational functionality.
Eligible bidders must be manufacturers or authorized agents with valid registration, FBR/ATL compliance, and proven experience in supplying similar medical equipment. Joint ventures are allowed with clear designation of lead members. Bidders must submit a bid security of PKR 3,160,000 and comply with all documentation requirements on the EPADS platform. The technical and financial bids will be submitted electronically, with technical bids opened on 11th May 2026 at 16:00 HRS PST at IDAP Lahore office.
The deadline for bid submission is 11th May 2026 at 15:30 HRS PST via EPADS. Bidders should ensure timely submission and original bid security delivery to IDAP Lahore. The contract includes a one-year warranty and a five-year extended maintenance contract, with training provided for clinical and technical staff. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the detailed technical specifications and ensure all required documents, including manufacturer authorizations and compliance certificates, are complete and uploaded on EPADS to avoid disqualification. Early registration on EPADS and proactive clarification requests are recommended to navigate the electronic bidding process smoothly.
