Tender Description
The Infrastructure Development Authority of the Punjab (IDAP) invites bids for the supply, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Cardiotocography (CTG) Machines (Package No. 22-R) for the establishment of the Federal Government Polyclinic (PGMI)-II located at G-11/3, Islamabad. This procurement is specifically for medical equipment essential for fetal monitoring, including single, twin, or triplet ultrasound CTG machines with color LCD displays and fetal heart rate monitoring capabilities.
The technical scope includes delivery on Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis, installation, commissioning, and a comprehensive warranty and maintenance contract. The equipment must comply with FDA 510K, CE, or equivalent regulatory approvals and include all standard accessories such as mobile trolleys, paper rolls, and gel. The supplier is responsible for local customs clearance, insurance, and transportation to the site. Installation and commissioning must be completed within 30 days of site handover, with a warranty period of 12 months followed by a 5-year extended maintenance contract.
Eligible bidders include manufacturers or their authorized local agents/importers/distributors registered with relevant Pakistani authorities and possessing valid FBR/ATL registration. Experience in supplying similar medical equipment and compliance with PEC categories is required. Bidders must submit earnest money in the form of a bid security and comply with all tender conditions.
The bid submission deadline is 14th May 2026 at 16:00 PST via the Punjab e-Procurement System (EPADS). Technical bids will be opened the same day at 16:30 PST at IDAP's office in Lahore. Bidders should ensure all required documents, including technical specifications, manufacturer authorization, and bid security, are submitted on EPADS. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 4th May 2026 at 12:00 PST at IDAP Lahore office.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the technical specifications and ensure full compliance, as minor deviations affecting clinical function may lead to disqualification. Also, timely submission of original bid security to the IDAP office before the deadline is critical to avoid rejection. Familiarity with EPADS and early registration will facilitate smooth bid submission and participation in this competitive procurement.
