Tender Description
The Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) Procurement Department in Karachi invites qualified and eligible bidders to participate in the procurement of Non-Consultancy Services for the supply and installation of electrical and mechanical parts for the establishment of a Mechanical Workshop at the Power House SSGC Karachi Terminal. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and is governed under the Single Stage One Envelope bidding procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique.
Items being procured:
- Supply of Electrical & Mechanical Parts of Establishment Mechanical Workshop at Power House SSGC Karachi Terminal (as per BOQ)
- Installation of Electrical & Mechanical Parts of Establishment Mechanical Workshop at Power House SSGC Karachi Terminal (as per BOQ)
The scope includes the complete supply and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment as detailed in the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and technical specifications provided in the tender documents. The work will be executed at the Power House SSGC Karachi Terminal, with a delivery and completion schedule of 120 days.
Bidders must possess valid PEC licenses with relevant fields of specialization EE03/04 or ME-01/02/03/04 categories and be registered with FBR (NTN). A fixed bid security of Rs. 100,000 in the form of Pay Order or Demand Draft in favor of SSGC is mandatory and must be physically submitted to the Tender Room at SSGC Head Office before the bid submission deadline. Complete tender documents including signed and stamped Tender Terms, BOQ, Price Schedule, and Annexures must be uploaded on the EPADS portal.
Bids must be submitted electronically through the EPADS v2.0 system by Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. The bid opening will be conducted on the same day at 11:30 AM via EPADS. Interested bidders not registered on EPADS v2.0 should register promptly to participate.
The contract will require a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract price in acceptable forms such as Pay Order, Call Deposit, or Bank Guarantee. The contract will be governed by the laws of Pakistan and will include provisions for liquidated damages in case of non-performance.
