Tender Description
The Modernization and Upgradation of Gadani Shipbreaking and Recycling Industry and Development of Allied Facilities (MUGSBRI) in Quetta, Balochistan, is procuring the supply and installation of an on-grid solar PV system specifically designed for re-rolling and ship breaking operations. This project involves comprehensive civil works and electrical installations to support a 5 Megawatt solar power plant at the Gadani District Hub. The scope includes excavation, concrete works, masonry, plastering, flooring, electrical wiring, solar panel mounting, inverter installation, and associated infrastructure. The procurement is managed by the Director of Balochistan Development Authority and requires bidders to be registered with PEC under relevant categories, possess valid FBR/ATL registration, and demonstrate experience in similar solarization projects in Balochistan with a minimum contract value of 50% of the estimated cost. The financial capacity must include an average annual turnover of Rs. 1000 million over the last three years and a credit line of Rs. 500 million from a scheduled bank.
