Supply and Installation of On Grid Solar PV System for Re-Rolling and Shipbreaking at Gadani District Hub

The Balochistan Development Authority in Quetta is procuring the supply and installation of an On Grid Solar PV system specifically for the Re-Rolling and Shipbreaking facility at Gadani District Hub. This project involves a large-scale solar power installation aimed at enhancing energy sustainability and operational efficiency at the site. The technical scope includes the complete supply and installation of solar photovoltaic panels, associated electrical works, and integration with the existing grid infrastructure. The project demands compliance with PEC codes CE02, CE03, CE10, EE03, EE04, EE05, EE10, EE11(i), EE11(ii), EE11(iii), EE11(vi), EE11(vii), EE11(viii), EE11(xix), ME06, and ME07(v). Additionally, bidders must hold a valid Electrical License from the Energy Department of Balochistan and ISO 9001:2015 certification for supply, installation, and commissioning of solar systems. Eligible bidders must be registered with PEC in category C1 or above for the fiscal year 2025-26, and must be active on the FBR Active Taxpayers List (ATL) with valid NTN and BRA registration. Firms should have completed at least one similar government solarization project worth 50% or more of the estimated cost and demonstrate an average turnover of PKR 1,000 million over the last three years. A credit line of PKR 500 million or above from a scheduled bank is also required. The tender fee is PKR 2,000 payable via bank challan to the Project Director MUGSBRI at Askari Bank Limited Alamdar Road Branch Quetta. Earnest money of 2% of the estimated cost must be submitted as bid security in favor of the Project Director MUGSBRI. No cheque payments are accepted.
