Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply, installation, commissioning, and testing of high-efficiency UPS systems at the Sindh Integrated Emergency and Health Services (SIEHS) Data Center in Karachi. The department requires replacement of end-of-life APC UPS units with new 15 x 2 KVA online double conversion UPS units, including batteries and allied accessories such as distribution boards, breakers, and power cables. The scope includes a detailed site survey, decommissioning of existing UPS, and installation without service downtime, ensuring continuous 24x7 data center operations.
The UPS systems must meet stringent technical specifications including true online double conversion topology, microprocessor-based IGBT technology, 96% efficiency in ECO mode, and compatibility with generators. The equipment should provide 25 to 30 minutes backup at half load, with VRLA batteries and comprehensive monitoring features. Installation will be at the SIEHS Data Center in Karachi, requiring careful planning of power distribution and integration with existing infrastructure. The bidder must ensure compliance with IEC standards and provide a one-year comprehensive warranty with local OEM support and 24x7 service availability.
Bidders should be registered with FBR and SRB, possess valid ATL status, and comply with the 2025-26 fiscal year requirements. PEC registration is advised for technical credibility. The bid security is fixed at PKR 120,000, and performance security at 5% of contract value is required. Bids must remain valid for 90 days. All taxes and duties must be included in the quoted price. The procurement follows the Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (Amended 2024).
