Tender Description
The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), specifically the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (SMME) located in Islamabad, is procuring a range of IT equipment to support its academic and research activities. This procurement includes high-performance desktop computers with Intel Core i7 13th Gen processors, 16 GB RAM, SSD storage, LED monitors, branded keyboards and mice, line interactive UPS systems, smart interactive LED screens with Android and Windows OS compatibility, network CCTV cameras, and wireless presentation pointers. The scope covers supply, installation, and demonstration of all equipment with a warranty of at least one year and support for five years for spare parts. The procurement is managed by the NUST SMME department and requires bidders to be authorized suppliers, OEMs, or distributors with NTN and active ATL status in FBR records. Bidders must submit a technical bid with earnest money and a financial bid separately, following the single stage-single envelope procedure through the EPADS system. The deadline for bid submission is 21-May-2026 at 11:00 AM, with technical bids opening at 11:30 AM the same day. Bidders should ensure compliance with all technical specifications, provide OEM authorization letters, and submit all required documentation including tax certificates, company profile, and bank statements. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the technical bid with complete specifications and ensure the earnest money is submitted as a separate pay order or bank draft in favor of NUST SMME Dev/Lab Fund to avoid disqualification. Late submissions or incomplete bids will not be entertained. This tender offers a significant opportunity for suppliers to engage with a prestigious academic institution in Islamabad and contribute to its technological advancement.
